Find me on:

Our brides and grooms love us because of our knowledge and experience with many different music genres.  It's natural for Indian wedding couples to seek our advice on what would be the best fit for them for all of their key wedding moments. Half of the Indian weddings we DJ are with both the bride and groom being of South Asian descent (Hindu, Christian or Muslim). The other half of the weddings we do are mixed or fusion weddings where one person is from South Asian descent and the other is not (White, Black, Hispanic or Asian).

Since conducting our first Indian wedding back in 1994, we never imagined that we would grow into a team of 12 incredible DJs, traveling the world and creating unforgettable memories for countless couples. It's a true blessing to do what we love and love what we do, especially when thousands of couples have entrusted us with one of the most significant days of their lives. That's why we've made it our mission to help engaged couples every step of the way, from the moment they say "yes" to the moment they say "I do."  The first part of our blogs focused on Venues, followed by Vendors, and now it's time for Music.

When coming up with the Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs, we based it on the following:

  • This blog focuses on popular Bollywood songs and instrumentals.
  • We have seen many brides either use these songs or consider using these songs for people entering before her or for music played for the grooms' side entrance, before the groom enters. Here is a list of great songs for the groom to enter.
  • We wanted to give you many options so if you find one that you like for yourself, use that one for you, and your second favorite for your wedding party or the grooms family.
  • We have put together this list with classy entrances in mind.
  • Focus on listening to the song and not watching the video. Don't overlook the perfect song because you don't like the video. No one will see the video, they will all be watching you.

The following Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs are ranked based on what we have seen used most often within the last few years.

Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs

1) Jashn-E-Baharaa Jodha Akbar

Topping our list of the Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs is the mesmerizing Jashn-E-Baharaa, which has been the most popular choice for the last few years. It is no surprise that it is one of A.R. Rahman's most frequently used tracks in Indian weddings. Also if you are still looking for a venue check out our blog on the Top 22 Indian Wedding Venues in DFW

2) Shimmer of Sindhu - Mohenjo Daro

This particular song has been a hidden gem since its release and is also composed by A.R. Rahman. Contrary to popular belief, not all songs on the Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs list are from him. We fondly refer to it as the modern "Jashn-E-Bahaara". It's an excellent choice for a sophisticated entrance at any Indian wedding ceremony, but it remains relatively unknown to many people. Check out our blog on the Top 9 Indian Wedding Venues that aren't hotels.

3) Din Shagna Da by Jasleen Royal

One of the songs on our list is "Din Shagna Da" by Jasleen Royal, which was recently used at a wedding we DJed. Originally a folk Punjabi song, it was remade in 2015 by The Wedding Filmer and eventually gained popularity in Bollywood, even being used by Anushka Sharma in her own wedding to Virat Kohli. 4) Kaun Tujhe - Palak Muchhal

This song is featured in the biographical movie M.S. Dhoni. We have noticed that since this song came out in 2016, it's been used most often by our Gujarati brides. The song is in Hindi, but something about it has our Gujarati brides loving it. Often our brides look for songs that haven't been played before (at least not often), maybe thats how it got popular. 5) Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai Flute Version

The original song is great and everyone knows it. Unlike the first two songs on the Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs list, this wasn't a part of their original soundtrack. Most people don't know this version exists. Yash Raj Films recreated this for Indian wedding entrances (not really, but it works well for them). 6) Latika's Theme - Slumdog Millionaire

Although Jai Ho! is the most popular song from Slumdog Millionaire, we believe that Latika's Theme deserves more recognition. It's a wonderful choice for entrances, but many brides may not remember this gem or may not have paid attention to it. A.R. Rahman strikes again with another excellent track perfect for wedding entrances. Fill out the form on this page to receive a playlist of all the songs mentioned in this blog post, including this one. 7) Bombay Theme

Although the oldest track on our list of Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs, I couldn't resist including it after giving it another listen. This instrumental piece may not appeal to everyone, but if you have a fondness for Indian instrumental music or grew up watching this film, it could easily become one of your top choices. If you are looking for songs for the groom to enter, check it out here.

8) Bol Na Halke Halke - Jhoom Barabar Jhoom

Bol Na Halke Halke from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. It may not be as popular as some of the other songs on the list of Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs, but it is a personal favorite of mine. While many brides may opt for more trendy and popular songs, Bol Na Halke Halke has a timeless quality that will never go out of style. Its unique and heartfelt sound is sure to make your special day even more unforgettable. If you're looking for a unique and great song that none of your friends have used, give this one a chance. If you still need a decorator, check out the Top 7.

9) Dil Diyan Gallan - Tiger Zinda Hai

Dil Diyan Gallan from Tiger Zinda Hai may be the newest addition to the Top 9 Indian Wedding Bridal Party Ceremony Entrance Songs list, but it's already making waves. This YRF song was not part of the original album, which means it's not as well-known as some of the other tracks on this list. However, with its beautiful melody and soulful lyrics, it's sure to become a popular choice for bridal party entrances in the near future. Need a planner for your wedding?
