Our couples love us because of our knowledge and experience with many different music genres. It's natural for Indian wedding couples to seek our advice on what would be the best fit for them for all of the key wedding moments. Half of the Indian weddings we DJ are with both the bride and groom being of South Asian descent (Hindu, Christian or Muslim). The other half of the weddings we do are mixed or fusion weddings where one person is from South Asian descent and the other is not (White, Black, Hispanic or Asian).
In 1994, we did our first Indian wedding. Who would have guessed that 25 years later, the company would grow into a team of 12 amazing DJ's that travel around the world making memories for couples. We are truly blessed to do what we love and love what we do. Thousands of couples have trusted us with the biggest and best days of their lives. We wanted to figure out a way to help couples during various parts of their journey from getting engaged to being married. The first part of our blogs focused on Venues, followed by Vendors, and now it's time for Music.
The reception is one of the most fun parts of the entire weekend. Couples look forward to this event the most. They get to finally let loose and party with friends and family. You have to set the right tone for the night. If you are excited and energized then people will feed off that energy and do the same. Your Parents entrance plays a big role in the vibe for the night. There are a number of ways the Parents can make their entrance by coming in dancing and singing the words, some have choreographed moves, and some come in smiling and waving. Whatever your preference, pick a song that is upbeat and the crowd can clap along too. Most of the time the Parents are choosing songs from their glory days for their entrance, but we wanted to give you a mix of Indian and American songs for their entrance.
When coming up with the Top 12 Indian Wedding Reception Parents Entrance Songs we based it on the following:
- We have seen many weddings where the parents either use these songs or consider using these songs.
- We kept a fun night in mind that needed an energetic entrance.
- Focus on listening to the song and not watching the video. Don't overlook the perfect song because you don't like the video. No one will see the video, they will all be watching you.
The following Top 12 Indian Wedding Reception Parents Entrance Songs are ranked based on what we have seen used most often within the last few years.
